Our Mission & Story

Mission

Massachusetts Chamber Music Artists (MCMA) celebrates chamber music through concerts that highlight timeless classical works, uncover hidden treasures, and amplify underrepresented voices while pursuing cultural diversity and discovery. By blending innovation with tradition, MCMA creates transformative concert experiences that inspire, educate, and connect through the universal language of music.

Our Story

Dear Friends,

We are excited to welcome you to Massachusetts Chamber Music Artists (MCMA). My name is Haig Hovsepian, and I’m honored to invite you on this journey as a musician dedicated to exploring the depth and beauty of chamber music.

MCMA is deeply inspired by the vision of my grandmother, violinist Anahit Tsitsikian, who spent her life “bringing the music of the world to Armenia, and the music of Armenia to the world.” Her belief in music as a bridge between cultures continues to resonate with me and serves as the foundation for what we seek to create.

At MCMA, we aspire to do more than perform timeless works of the classical repertoire. We highlight hidden treasures, elevate voices that deserve to be heard, and create transformative experiences that invite reflection, discovery, and connection. Through this, we celebrate music as a universal language capable of uniting people from all walks of life.

Our mission is guided by a commitment to artistic excellence and inclusivity. Each performance, each note, and each story we tell is an invitation to experience music’s power to inspire, educate, and unite.

Join us as we explore the stories that chamber music reveals and the connections it forges. Together, let’s create a space where music not only resonates but profoundly enriches our understanding of one another.

With gratitude,

Haig Hovsepian
Founder, Massachusetts Chamber Music Artists.
